Join us for a musical performance by Columbia students Vincent Le ('21 Music and Pre-Medicine) and Isaac Horwitz (’21 Political Science and Statistics). The performance will feature Le’s original classical chamber music album entitled COLORS, in which he wrote 6 movements based on the primary and secondary colors: Blue, Red, Green, Violet, Yellow and Orange. For this performance, the 2 musicians will perform Blue, Yellow, Violet and Orange all as piano (Le) and trumpet (Horowitz) duets. Le will talk about his album as a whole and why/ how he chose to write it. Before playing each song, he will include his inspiration, original instrumentation and current adaptation as a piano and trumpet duet.
